Why You Can't Manifest Your Twin Flame Using the Law of Attraction

You cannot manifest your Twin Flame using the Law of Attraction.
That statement surprises many people because the Law of Attraction has become one of the most influential ideas in today's spiritual marketplace. Countless books, coaches, and online teachers encourage people to visualize the relationship they want, repeat affirmations, raise their vibration, and trust that the Universe will eventually bring the right person into their lives.
There may be situations where principles associated with the Law of Attraction have practical value. However, according to Kurt Johnson of New World Allstar, the Twin Flame journey does not operate according to that model. The reason is simple. The Law of Attraction assumes you are trying to attract something separate from yourself. The True Twin Flame Teachings begin from an entirely different premise: your Twin Flame is not separate from you. You are one Soul expressed through two physical bodies.
That distinction changes everything.
The Law of Attraction works from a subject-and-object relationship. You are here. The thing you want is somewhere else. Through thought, emotion, intention, and focus, you attract that external object into your experience. Whether the object is money, a new career, a house, or another opportunity, the underlying assumption remains the same. There is a separate object that does not yet belong to you.
According to The True Twin Flame Teachings, this assumption does not accurately describe the Twin Flame phenomenon. If Twin Flames are genuinely one Soul in two bodies, then there are not two separate spiritual beings attempting to come together. There is one unified system temporarily experiencing itself through two individuals. The issue is not attracting another Soul. The issue is understanding the state of the system.
This is one of the reasons Kurt Johnson has consistently encouraged people to stop trying to "manifest" their Twin Flame. Through years of working with thousands of Twin Flame cases at New World Allstar, he has repeatedly observed that the harder people try to mentally attract the other person, the more they reinforce the very state they are trying to escape. Every attempt to acquire the relationship begins with the assumption that something is missing. Every attempt to force reunion reinforces the experience of separation.
From the perspective of the Great Spiritual Masters, this should sound familiar.
For thousands of years, they have consistently taught that what we seek is already present. The Buddha pointed beyond attachment. Ramana Maharshi taught that the Self does not need to be acquired because it has never been absent. Paramahansa Yogananda taught that the Kingdom of God is discovered within consciousness rather than obtained from the outside. Eckhart Tolle repeatedly emphasizes that Presence is realized through the ending of psychological identification, not through acquiring another experience.
None of these teachings describe attracting your true nature.
They describe remembering it.
This is precisely where Kurt Johnson's work intersects with those ancient teachings. According to his observations, the Twin Flame journey functions as one of the most powerful catalysts for remembering one's true nature as consciousness itself. The overwhelming emotional collapse that so many people experience is not simply heartbreak. It frequently marks the beginning of a profound spiritual awakening. People suddenly become interested in meditation, consciousness, and the nature of reality. Many undergo kundalini awakening, become psychic, experience out-of-body experiences, enter non-dual states of awareness, or encounter other profound shifts that radically change the way they understand themselves.
These experiences point toward awakening—not attraction.
Within The True Twin Flame Teachings, the push-pull dynamic is also understood very differently than it is in most manifestation teachings. Rather than describing two separate people exchanging energy, Kurt Johnson explains the Twin Flame relationship as one unified system continually seeking equilibrium. When the push twin becomes heavily identified with fear, attachment, and psychological separation, the system responds mechanically. As pressure increases on one side of the system, the pull twin instinctively moves away.
Trying harder only increases the pressure.
This is why chasing consistently produces more running. It is not punishment. It is not rejection. It is not a failure of manifestation. It is the natural response of one system compensating for imbalance.
The remarkable observation is what often happens when attention shifts away from acquiring the other person and toward awakening itself. Through thousands of cases documented at New World Allstar, Kurt Johnson has repeatedly observed that external movement frequently begins only after the push twin stops trying to manipulate the external relationship and instead recognizes their true nature beyond the mind. As identification with the psychological self begins dissolving, the energetic imbalance within the system changes. The system responds. Pressure decreases. Compensation changes. Equilibrium begins re-establishing itself.
This does not mean someone has successfully manifested their Twin Flame.
It means the condition producing separation is no longer present.
That distinction is crucial because it shifts the entire focus of the journey. Instead of asking, "How do I attract my Twin Flame?" the more useful question becomes, "What is keeping me identified with separation?" Those are completely different questions. One attempts to obtain something external. The other investigates the state of consciousness from which experience is arising.
This is also why so many people become frustrated with manifestation techniques during the Twin Flame journey. They faithfully repeat affirmations, visualize reunion, create vision boards, and attempt to maintain positive thoughts, yet nothing seems to change. According to Kurt Johnson, the reason is that the problem was never a lack of positive thinking. The problem was mistaken identity. As long as the psychological self believes it is separate from its own true nature, every attempt to acquire Union begins from the very illusion that awakening ultimately dissolves.
None of this means that intention, gratitude, or positive thinking are without value. They may contribute to a healthier and more optimistic life. They simply do not explain the mechanics of the Twin Flame phenomenon. The Twin Flame journey is not primarily about attracting another person into your experience. It is about awakening from the state of consciousness that convinced you the two of you were separate in the first place.
Ultimately, this is why Kurt Johnson teaches that the Law of Attraction is the wrong model for understanding Twin Flames. Attraction assumes two separate things moving toward one another. The True Twin Flame Teachings describe one Soul expressing itself through two individuals within a single unified system. The goal is not to attract what is already yours. It is to awaken from separation into Union. When that shift occurs, the system naturally responds—not because you successfully manifested another person, but because the illusion that sustained the separation has begun to disappear.
